Welcome!
I am a lecturer (assistant professor) of Finance at UNSW Business School.
My research interests include financial intermediation, corporate finance, political economy, and contract theory.
Before joining UNSW Sydney, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford. I completed my PhD in Applied Economics (Finance) at Cornell, followed by an MSc in Econometrics & Mathematical Economics from LSE, an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh, and a BSc in Statistics and Economics from Dalhousie University.
I publish under my Chinese name, Haokun Sun; I often go by Sam.
