Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford Freeman Spogli Institute. I finished my PhD in Applied Economics (Finance) from Cornell.
My research focuses on financial intermediation, corporate finance, political economy, and contract theory.
Starting in October 2026, I will join the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales as a lecturer (assistant professor).
I publish under my Chinese name, Haokun Sun; I often go by Sam.
